Websites worth the visit

http://specialeducationlawblog.blogspot.com/ This website has lots of information regarding special education, laws, graphs and polls that are important for education. They have a section about assistive technology and why it's important that those who have special needs can also have access to technology. As teachers its important to not exclude those who need additional support.

http://teacherscount.org/ This website has a variety of links that are useful to teachers. There is even links to free educational stuff. There is even a spot for book and movie reviews done by teachers they've used in their classroom. There is even a link to education jobs in your area by providing your zip code. They have links for those who want to teach specific areas such as civics, math, and reading.

http://www.surfnetkids.com/
This website is kid friendly and has so many categories of possible learning activities to do with children in your classroom. Some examples of what to find on this site are games, history, crafts, computer tools, and activities.

http://www.education.com/blog/
What I liked about this site is you can pick the age of the child you plan to work with and it will help you find activities for that age by picking a theme. There is crafts for holidays things parents and children can do together.
